First Dress

Linen Pullover Dress
How I Styled It
Floral Sunnies: Target
Belt: H&M
Hat: Target
Sandals: Super Score from the Mall (only $5)

This little number has a special place in my heart for many reasons.  Wanna know why?

First of all, this is one of the first dresses I made when I picked sewing back up a couple of years ago.  One of my law school buddies got into quilting and encouraged me to take a sewing class with her.  This is one of the pieces I made during our sewing sessions at her house when we probably should have been studying. ;)  Sewing and girl talk.  Fun times.

Secondly, this dress is awesome because it's such an easy pattern and requires so little notions.  Aside from the fabric, all you need is some thread.  It's perfect for a beginner.

{Pattern Info: McCall's M5617}
Finally, this is one of the dresses I wore for our engagement shoot.  It worked out so perfectly. Yay! ;)
