SSS Poll Winner: One Shoulder Peplum Striped Shirt

Make #16
Sew Stylings Sundays (SSS) Poll Results: 25-18
One Shoulder

So here's the story of how I went from making a one shoulder dress to a one shoulder shirt instead...

For the (one before the last posted) Sew Stylings Sundays Poll, I asked you (my lovely readers) to help me decide which style of dress to make (cowl neck or one shoulder). There were great arguments for both styles and some of you loved both styles the same. Ultimately, the majority of you voted (25-18 to be exact) to see a finished one shoulder dress.

So I dutifully ventured to complete a one shoulder dress per your request.  However, no matter what I tried it was not working.  The arms were more suitable for the cowl neck style dress and would not have it any other way.

Not wanting to disappoint you all, I decided I would solve this problem by simply also making a one shoulder dress with the remaining fabric.  The fabric I had left was not quite enough for a dress but there was plenty to make a cute peplum one shoulder shirt.  So here goes it.

You voted and I delivered.  Do share in the comments below what you think.  I sure hope I did not disappoint. ;)

P.S.
Thanks for all your votes and opinions.  I really enjoyed involving you (all) in the creative process and I look forward to working with you (all) again! Whoo Hoo ;)
