Bodycon Pencil Skirt

Make #23
How I Styled It
Pashmina/Scarf: Bday gift (from my sister)
Belt: Forever 21
Watch: Michele (similar in rose gold here)

Can you believe this skirt only took 15 minutes to make from start to finish and using only 3 seams? You better believe it! ;) Wanna know how?

I found an awesome tutorial for making a knit pencil skirt in 15 minutes on www.mimigstyle.com.  I love how super easy Mimi G. makes sewing. Make #23 is my version of the pencil skirt from her tutorial (here).  I can't believe this skirt only required 3 seams to complete. Love it!

For those of you readers who want to try your hand at sewing, I definitely recommend that you check out Mimi G's tutorials on her blog www.mimigstyle.com. She makes it real easy to follow along (with written and video instructions) and the results are super chic. I think you'll enjoy it.  Definitely check it here!

The Details

Don't you feel like neon yellow is the new neutral? I totally do! It seems like you can wear it with anything these days.

Any thoughts? Comment below. ;)

As for sewing , it can be a little frustrating but the ends do really justify the means. The anticipation of styling the finished product is what really motivates me through the frustrations. ;)
