Work It Wednesdays

Orange Mint & Leopard

Starting a new job brings with it more than just the duties at the office.  For me, the hardest part has been trying to work my current clothes into a work appropriate wardrobe (without having to shop too much).

As flexible as a Business Casual dress code can be, the ambiguity kills me.  I'm always worried about what is "too casual" for Business Casual.  But, the main priority remains to keep it cute and creative for the job.  Nothing beats feeling great about your personal appearance as you're about to tackle the work day.

After a little trial and error, I discovered some fun ways of combining my "not so office wear" into a stylish way to keep it "BC" at the J-O-B.  In my "Work-It Wednesdays" posts, I hope to share with you all some of my little tricks and resulting creations from working my wardrobe into a "work-drobe".

Some Tips:
Mixing odd combinations, like orange and mint, can make a nice statement.  It's all about combining the right shades of colors.

Also, throwing in some leopard makes a nice finishing touch. Leopard print works pretty well with just about any combination you can think of.  I would recommend sticking to solids, however, if the color combination is a little unusual.

Feel free to mix it up a bit and experiment. It's definitely a great way to make it work for dressing for work.
