I have been a little MIA for the past week or so, but the Business Casual styling has not stopped. While I enjoy putting together outfits for work, it can be a little hard to keep from feeling like my work wardrobe is a routine.
One simple little trick that I find helpful is mixing textures. Simply pairing two distinctly different fabrics is a great way to break up the monotony that can be typical in work clothes. Not to mention, pairing opposite fabric textures helps balance stand out fabrics such as Boucle (skirt fabric in this look) or Lace, which aren't typically go-to fabrics for a more casual or business dress code.
