Thrifted Thursdays

Leather High-Waist Pencil Skirt

Aside from making my own clothes, I have a few other methods for beefing up my wardrobe while saving some money.

Thrifting/Vintage Shopping is one of those ways.

I love hunting for one-of-a-kind finds and thrift/vintage shops are way to go when you're looking for something unique.  I learned how to thrift shop pretty early from my mother who was/is the queen of finding awesome, chic, and quality clothes.  Hopefully, I'll pass on this tradition to my future kids. ;)

Check out this genuine leather, high-waist pencil skirt I found on my first go at thrift/vintage shopping in LA.  This skirt (remember genuine leather) only cost me about $7.00 after a 50% discount at Buffalo Exchange.  I paired it here (for your viewing pleasure) with the striped one shoulder peplum shirt I just made (by tucking the peplum part into my skirt) and some crimson accessories.  Hope you likey! ;)

Adore the crimson accessories. Love that hat! I have a similar one in burgundy. :)
